„We shape our buildings, and afterwards our buildings shape us”
Winston Churchill
We never stop searching for inspiration. We create new design details which are exclusively adapted to a particular interior or building. The outcome brings an individual and unique project.
„Imagination creates reality.”
Richard Wagner
When designing interiors, we pay attention to all details and wide perspective: greenery outside, the context of a place and, above all, the essential role of both natural and artificial light. The overall effect has an added value which becomes even more outstanding as the years go by.
„Those whose cause is just will never lack good arguments.”
Eurypides
In our villa projects we pay special attention to garden design in which each shrub and tree has its own rightful space. We consider change of seasons, blossom and smells, so as to create new bonds between people and nature.
„The architect must be a prophet… a prophet in the true sense of the term… if he can’t see at least ten years ahead don’t call him an architect.”
Frank Lloyd Wright
We pay attention to both lifestyle and our clients’ professional life. We learn about their personality and the rhythm of their days. We bear in mind most important and most trivial aspects. We are keen on discovering new passions and exploring new and old needs.
„The more real a sensation, the more real the output.”
Juliusz Żórawski
Extensive experience gained on launching our project helps us to come up with new ideas, to fulfil our clients’ requirements, and to apply innovative solutions.
„New architectural types are emerging and evolving within today’s technologically developing society. These new programs present practical architectural situations for unique dynamic activities.”
M. Fox
We design with passion and dedication. We treat each and every project with equal importance and meticulous attention. We do not shy away from challenges and we are looking forward to working with you!

WHY OUR OFFICE?

We have a different way of working – we design from to scratch up to the realisation phase. We cooperate with both local and foreign manufacturers to be able purchase hard to reach finishing elements in attractive prices.

We provide non-standard solutions which fulfil all the requirements of an investor.

We design visual identity projects (wordmarks, colour, font, unique forms) for each of our new building or interior, which ensures that a new brand which appears on the market will stand out among the others.

The valuation of an offer needs to be preceded by setting up a project theme and collecting basic information (about metric area, purpose, localisation, criteria and requirements).

We invite You to acquaint yourself with our projects.

In case of questions please contact us via e-mail or phone, or visit us in our office. We will discuss the realisation of the project, present you with a contract and discuss it with you. We will provide you with an action overview and deadlines for the realisation of the project. The best way to start is to meet: we invite you to work with us!

DESIGNING PROCESS

The first step is to meet and have an interview with an investor. We discuss the theme and the scope of a project. Then we set up priorities, learn about our client’s needs and estimated budget. During the interview we outline the frame in which a concept is to develop (stylistic preferences, preferred materials, shapes and colours).
The project stage starts with preparing technical documentation; stocktaking in most cases. In case of a project of a building, or a complex of buildings, the documentation includes design maps, construction requirements, and utilities connections requirements. In case of existing buildings or interiors, we prepare a detailed stocktaking report and computer model. Projects with garden design additionally include a dendrological and pedological analysis.
Architectural concept results from the previous phases and the presentation of the design assumption. All the decisions are based on photorealistic visualisations, technical drawings, material samples, and in some cases, physical models. In addition, we present functional analysis, which includes personal habits and behaviours. Initial valuation and the description of the project’s stages are also included.
Once the concept is accepted, we move to the project itself. In case of new buildings, or their adaptation or expansion, this stage is preceded by a construction project, which helps to obtain a construction permit. This complementary documentation, issued in a sufficient number of copies (including one for the investor), is prepared according to architectonic standards. It includes technical documentation (with the photographs of the current state), detailed design of works, and quotations. The information is also stored on data storage devices.
The entire investment process is closely supervised by the architects. We control deadlines, and establish the entire investment process. At client’s request, cleaning staff can be employed at the last stage of the construction works. When the work is finished, a photo session takes place. The number of undertaken activities determines the outstanding quality of our projects and is the source of the investor’s satisfaction.

KJ/ARCHITEKCI is a reliable team of architects. Brave young designers together with their more experienced colleagues set up new trends and standards in the architectural-construction business. The 20+ year experience guarantees the high quality of our projects. The remarkable skills of our team members can be noticed at every step of the process: starting with the making of architectural models (manual and laser cutting, 3D printing, engraving), up to the fully digital modelling, visualising and project development. The office uses latest software (e.g. the programs written by Autodesk, Adobe, Chaos Group, Google), as well as most efficient computer graphics equipment, which can handle even the most demanding tasks.

We cooperate with a number of technical centres, construction companies and manufacturers of both construction and finishing elements, so we keep confronting our ideas with the applied solutions.

The office has gained the trust of numerous companies and individual clients. As we coordinate projects in different countries, we know the standards applied both in and outside the European Union.

The office was set up in 2002 by Ph. D. Arch. Katarzyna Jucha. M. Arch. Filip Łękawski and M. Arch. Michal Jania joined the partnership in 2015.
